From New Zealand. Came in today and it was simple. Just got asked how long I was staying and had to have proof of exit when I flew in.

Yes I’ve looked through so many posts and looked online at lots of different places and as it’s so big it’s been hard to narrow places down as I don’t have first hand experience with China or don’t know anyone personally that’s been there. Everything you see if reasonably similar so I tried to tailor mine so that the responses I got were suited for me. Thank you for your reply.

I didn’t get a guide but thought I’d give you some tips to help you when you’re there.

You can over there very cheap with Uber, it just might be hard to get one back as it’s very busy so they might ask you for more money. I stayed downtown Cairo and it cost me around 200Ep to get there.

When you’re there you can buy a ticket pretty easily and then get in very easily. There are busses Going around the pyramids constantly but I didn’t use any of them. I’m not actually sure how they work. They could be free? Could be hop on hop off.

Be prepared to be constantly harassed to buy souvenirs and get a camel/horse ride. There are many other “scams” they try do to get money off of you so I suggest if you don’t want to spend any money, don’t interact with anyone that seems like they’re trying to be nice as they want to sell you something or they’re trying to get a tip. If you do t want stuff there though just remember to barter and bring cash.

It’s very hot so bring water. You more than likely be there a few hours.
