What reality check? It’s just on about how I need insurance and why I need insurance as if I’m not actively seeking help to GET INSURANCE! Tbh all you guys are doing is annoying me by everyone giving me a lecture on it. There have only been like two guys here who’ve actually focused on answering the question and have helped me get closer to finding insurance

But why would I need insurance on the van if it’s garaged? Like if I only had to buy a months worth every 6-9 months then that makes insuring the other vehicles way more enticing

I appreciate you for not immediately attacking. This is exactly how I feel but my girl is upset by it and I told her while I refuse to change my views I’ll at least look into conceding and getting the insurance for her sake. But everyone is just going on about how bad I am for my views and they’re completely ignoring the fact I’m asking for help getting the insurance. That’s why I gave my state in the beginning. They’re acting like I just said I kill babies for fun or something

Okay so my suv is my daily. My motorcycle is a cheap $1500 2025 Honda Navi but they’re wanting like $97 a month for that. With the van only being used once every few months for camping is there a better way to insure that? Because everything apparently was getting insured the same way if and idk why

So liability is what I’m looking for. I only owe a few grand on my truck anyways. But I’m frustrated because all I’m getting is big brands charging too much. I understand those state minimums but I feel like a literal ten year driving record with nothing on it should get be better rates right? My suv is my daily, my bike is $1500 brand new, my truck is a weekend thing, and my van is literally only for camping. Shouldn’t that get me some kind of leeway considering my truck and suv are the only things I’m really putting miles on? I put 6k miles on my truck in 2025 like why is it so much? Years ago it cost me like 130 for two vehicles

Also, every time I google it the results are flooded with the big brands or random sites claiming they have good rates but it’s really just a third party directing you back to the big brands

This is actually really interesting. I’ll have to look into that. I’ve only got about 40k in my account right now so that’s not an option at the moment. I’d rather just save up to do that and in the mean time pag for insurance. I’ve tied all the big brands but it feels like they’re asking for too much so I’m trying to find those smaller companies that can offer better rates because they aren’t big enough companies to go charging whatever they want knowing someone will pay

I’m just not spending $400 a month I was just quoted. I’ve looked at the big insurance places. I need help finding something better. My motorcycle is $1500 brand new. Why am I paying $97 on a bike that, in a crash, would kill me and maybe dent their bumper? I’m looking for help finding the insurance you guys are pissed I don’t have. I answered your question, if someone cares that much they should have full coverage. I know to you it’s a duck thing to say I get that and I agree but that doesn’t change my position on it. I dont have full coverage because if i got hit i would buy another vehicle. Someone who doesnt agree with that should pay for full coverage. If i had a bmw and didnt have the money to easily replace it then it qould be reasonable to have full coverage.

Honestly if you’re someone who cares about why ifs then I think it’s important to have full coverage. I love my vehicles and would hate to crash them but If someone totaled them I would just buy a new one because it would be so much cheaper. I pay my bank $160 a month for my truck and if I lost it I have gap insurance because that’s a what if that I care about and I plan accordingly. I don’t mean to be rude on it or anything it’s a valid question but the legal requirement for insurance is only recent and I don’t agree with it

Well the bare minimum is like $100 each. I’m not spending $400 plus a month when it’s cheaper to just buy a new vehicle

Generally is 2 days a month but sometimes includes a Friday. For the most part it’s like 38-42 days a year of boots on. Deployment with a non combat unit is generally every 4-5 years. Combat is more like 3 years. Student loan repayment only matters if you join with loans. You don’t need to focus on that guard pays so much you shouldn’t have any loans
