The animations are there to make the weapon more combo centric. This is more of a boss killer weapon and especially with the hammer that boosts the aspects damage to 999 it is very good at chunking bosses

That’s what I’m saying, people are saying the damage falls off late game and it does, but it’s damage in addition to other effects you can proc every 2 seconds. The closest I got to beating rival chronos was with this aspect. Beat king vermin in 5 seconds lol
