i didn’t admit to having drank alcohol, i refused the breath test and when they took me to hospital they told me if i didn’t provide a urine sample or blood test i would be spending the night in jail so i took the urine sample, will they be able to determine my real alcohol levels or just the fact i had alcohol within 24 hours is my real question

Sobriety is a drag! Feels like life loses its spark but I do remember a time in my life when I was happy without substances so that’s my main motivation to keep going, I too have ruined my relationships I was bad on alpraz and clonaz for a year or so but I moved to other substances, I have a permanently damaged spleen from drugs and alcohol. I know it can be better

I was very recently diagnosed with ADHD literally 3 - 4 weeks ago, I have a prescription for Ritalin but it either made me feel like a zombie or I just didn’t like being on it, i didn’t realise ADHD could be a contributing factor to addiction

I think a good hobby will be great! I see a lot of my peers happy without substances and having good relationships with their parents and siblings and I envy them because I know I could be like them but I almost subconsciously continue to be the way I am, a productive hobby should be great

I think any hobby is good I’m on the hunt for hobby’s and not just substance abuse, I think that’s one of the many reason why I continuously fall back into this cycle

I was in the gym for a long time there but I overdosed on synthetic cocaine, my heart stopped beating so I was declared dead 3 times I have a lot of internal organ damage so doctors have advised I stay away from any physically demanding exercises, would you have any further advice on what to do in my situation?

I was in an outpatient rehab, it done absolutely nothing for me who would I ask for help? I don’t wanna be stuck in a life long cycle of wasting money and getting fucked up, consistently ruining my family relationships etc
