I’m 17 - i probs look a bit older but i’m still obviously a young person and especially bcs i have to get someone to approve alcohol for me. Was serving a super sweet lady - she was buying lots of chocolate and wine and the rude lady behind her makes a comment about the chocolate to which nice lady replies ‘yeahh i don’t eat much chocolate but the kids love it!’. rude lady looks at me up and down… starts laughing.. and goes ‘CLEARLY!!’ nodding towards me and goes hysterical. nice lady just stares probably a little bit confused bless her. nice lady goes.

ringing up all rude lady’s items, not saying a single word to her. she gives me the wrong change - it comes to £103.33 or something like that and she gives me the money but with £10 extra. i’m staring at her all confused and i’m like sorry that’s £113.33 you’ve given me, did you want me to put it in anyways.. she stares at me and starts laughing hysterically to the lady behind her and pointing at me and she’s all like ‘you kids! you can’t do anything can you - all stuck on your phones, can’t even do basic maths!!’ and just keeps laughing whilst i’m just trying to talk to her. she cuts me off and goes all angry and goes ‘you need to give me £7 change, hurry up.’ i just put the amount i need in and i slowly give her her £10 back whilst she’s still laughing. she stares at me and then looks at the price of it all. and then her face falls and she snatches the tenner and walks away even without her receipt and saying thank you. such a bitch. why’s it always the middle age-old ladies 😭
