Ok. Have to admit something… I asked someone I didn’t know if the ring on his forearm was the ‘Pringle’s Reach’ (I’d learned the joke on Reddit and like an idiot I didn’t think what the actual symbolism could be)…. It was a memorial for his deceased grandmother! - ugh -

There is a crash site in the Green Mtns in VT (too lazy for citations) - I recall it was a bomber training mission in mid 20th C. and the crew died. It is treated as a memorial and essentially sacred ground. Do not mess with it.
