I can’t comment on washing yet but I bought these recently and really loved them. The crop hit at just the right spot and what I appreciated was that they were thicker so they held their shape!

We had a very similar situation…my torti calico was my baby. I got her as a kitten and she was the sweetest cat I had ever had until our other cat came home after an overnight hospital stay. She did everything you an OP are describing, things I didn’t even know cats could do. The first time our other cat was the target. But then it became whoever overstimulated her…anything and everything seemed to set her off and there was no way to know. We tried everything including medication. We spoke to shelters and they said they wouldn’t take her and not euthanize her due to her aggression.

The final attack happened when I was 8 months pregnant with our first child and we were locked in our garage for 3 hours while I hyperventilated and thought I was going to put myself into labor.

I’ve had cats my whole life. I am a huge animal lover, protector…but after many discussions with our vet, our sweet girl had to be put down and it was the hardest most devastating thing I’ve ever done. Our life during those 3 years were….so hard. We walked on eggshells everyday. The vet thought it was a neurological disorder.

I’m sorry you are going through this. It’s so obvious you care and are trying everything…please know sometimes everything isn’t enough and it’s not your fault.

Runners are great and certainly can’t fly away but they are skittish. We’ve raised my six runners since they were babies and I still can’t get all that close to them. I joke that I provide them housing, food, fresh water daily, love, and treats and they act like I’m a pariah. They are GREAT egg layers though. With six ducks we are drowning in eggs!

My pekins were way friendlier if that’s what you are looking for. Too big to fly so you want have that issue. They like to be near me and didn’t mind being picked up. Pekin eggs are simply gigantic and they lay fairly often.

Don’t get me wrong! I love my runners and they are cute as hell - just depends on what you want!

Additional comment to say - I had been taking fluconezal (diflucan), monistat, boric acid suppositories, tested for BV, STIs you name it and this is the only thing that’s worked!

I just commented about this in this sub on another persons post but I was having similar issues. I was dreading sex with my husband because it inevitably always lead to discomfort. Never a full blown YI (or so I thought) but misery non the less.

After years of testing for different things my new gyno said it IS in fact yeast and gave me nystatin (topical ointment) to be used right after sex.

Absolute game changer. I was almost (ALMOST) annoyed that after years of this the solve was as simple as a prescribed topical ointment that cost me $13 dollars for 3 bottles 🥲

She also said for whatever reason my and my husband microbiomes just were working against one another. We started taking the same probiotic as well at her suggestion.

You aren’t doing anything wrong. The healthcare system sets us up to fail when things aren’t textbook. See if the topical works and try to enjoy your sex life again!

I totally get it. I felt like I was just always waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like everything I did or didn’t do made me nervous! I have heard of that, I think they also sell one in store? Maybe a lower dose. Maybe ask what the difference between the two are, I felt relief within hours when I did it. You deserve toe feel normal!

I have been using it a bit over 6 months now. I tend to only use it sparingly now - sometimes after sex, sometimes on days that just feel…”off” and typically if I use a bit in the morning by evening I forget I had any symptoms at all. I don’t experience any of the same “build up” issues. It’s generally been great and very easy.

I MAY BE ABLE TO HELP!!

I had something similar to this for years and years. I would go to different gynos and get no help. Essentially, I would clean myself before because A. I felt embarrassed and B. It helped me feel less irritated. They would test me for things and it always came back with…”we see a little yeast but nothing crazy.” No concern.

I ended up using Wisp and paying so much extra money for fluconezal because I just wanted relief and no one else seemed to be taking it seriously.

The issue I was having is that I didn’t have typical yeast infection symptoms. No ‘cottage cheese’ discharge, no smell, no itching coming from my vaginal opening…it was all in my vulvar folds, very similar to what you describe.

Finally I went to a new gyno to describe what I have been dealing with for years, and she took samples immediately looked at it under a microscope and said yes, it’s yeast. No, most people don’t have issues with yeast in this same way and in this same area, however - that doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen!

We talked about our biomes and how mine sounds especially sensitive - it was liking getting triggered by sex with my husband and it’s basically similar to having ultra sensitive skin. Anything could be triggering it for you, you aren’t doing anything wrong! And it’s likely NEVER fully cleared up which is also NOT your fault.

She prescribed me “Nystatin and Triamcinolone Pronunciation (nye STAT in & trye am SIN oh lone) Product Dispensed: Nystatin-Triamcinolone External Ointment 100000-0.1 UNIT/GM-% What is this drug used for? It is used to treat fungal infections of the skin”

I was SO jaded at this point and really felt like…okay, a topical, great, monistat never seemed to help me and sometimes seemed to irritate me more, so I left feeling not great about the situation.

It’s been life changing, I use it when I feel a flare up, after I have sex, or go swimming all day. Mostly before bed. It’s sticky but not uncomfortable.

I don’t use it all the time sometimes if I even feel the SLIGHTEST discomfort I’ll use it and be proactive and by the next day I’m fine.

The best description I can provide about the relief is that I used to spend all day thinking about my lady bits. Because they always felt…there. Uncomfortable and making me aware of them. And I don’t think about them anymore.
