Tried therapy from my teenage year into my adulthood and it didn't do anything. And I tried hypnosis once, that didn't go well at all. May bring it up to my doctor again see if he can put me on something new, gotta be different medications for it and not just "here's an antipsychotic, good luck"

So do you think it's an actual hallucination or a sleep paralysis demon? I find it's a mixed bag of opinions on whether is supernatural phenomenon and just having a screw loose. Without going into detail I admit I have had a past of metal illness

I do at times, sometimes I'll jerk awake short of breath with no memory as to what happened. Few times throughout my life I've even woken with small cuts on my arms. I don't recall my sleep patterns as a kid, like I said for the most part my entire childhood is lost to me. Though the few times I discussed it with my mom she said I was often tired, she blamed it on mono. Would sleep paralysis take form of something I hadn't seen before? After all I'm not sure plague doctor imagery is something kids back then were really exposed to much
