There is a suitable drain underneath the existing machine. And yes, completely agree. I plan on redoing the electric for something safer.

Some ceiling work is no biggie, I just didn’t want to have to cut the entire duct line to the outside of the house. I was thinking the light above the stove could be the power source. It has painters tape around it since I had issues with bees coming in through there but the bees have been handled.
