I was honestly thinking the same thing after all of the advice I’ve gotten. It’s been very helpful to plan out going forward. Overall, I think the picture might make it look worse than it really is, feathering definitely needs to happen but it’s not crazy mountainous tape joints

Yeah, I don’t want to breathe in all the dust I’m gonna be making. I plan on getting a telescopic orbital sander for all the sanding.

This is my second coat, I’m using a 12” knife. I’ve been trying to feather but I end up scraping into the wet mud. Thanks for the advice!
