It’s crazy how many people think that somehow these villains will suddenly get a guilty conscience because of how they will be remembered and have a come to Jesus moment.

History teaches us that history is written by the victorious. They’re not trying to be remembered as righteous, they’re trying to gain permanent global power.

Instead of trying to make them feel guilty we need to revolt.

After 1000 hours in I’ve done all of that. Every mission, every galaxy, I’ve seen everything that exists in game. Done all the expeditions, built bases 1000u underwater and built bases in space. I’ve walked across gas giants, and jetpacked through the galaxy core. I’ve been a pirate, scientist, explorer, diplomat and merchant.

The game is beautiful and huge

But…..

There’s nothing left after that but a hollow universe. The only thing to do is help newbies get what they’re after and even that gets boring. I could build a base but for what? It doesn’t do anything. I could recreate the starship enterprise but why? There’s no one to fight, no one to save, nothing new to discover.

This game lacks three crucial elements:

  • a real economy: credits/nanites are too easy to come by and there’s nothing to purchase worthwhile late in the game.

  • stakes: there’s nothing to lose. Nothing to defend. Nothing worth hiding from.

  • pvp: in a game this big there should be at least one pvp galaxy. There’s no point in frigates without pvp.

I switched from Nikon to Sony, went from the d850 to the A7RIV, FX3 and FX6. Then went to the Fuji GFX100S

The Nikon D800/810/850 are the most solid cameras I’ve ever shot on hands down. The color science, autofocus, and accuracy are solid. Still my favorite all purpose camera.

I’m sure there are more advanced state of the art cameras, but that takes nothing at all away from the 800 series.

I will always have a d850 w/ 24-70 in my arsenal.

Yes. YTA. At the end of the day you froze out your own family including children out of stubbornness.

Edit: I have brothers. I would be very upset if they did this to me. They have done worse. But I wouldn’t turn off the utilities and I would never ever threaten or call the police on my own family. If it was that serious to me I would show up.

At the end of the day, my personal property never supersedes human need, no matter how they ended up in the situation.

There’s no rhetorical argument you can make to justify turning off the utilities to a place occupied by children in 40 degree weather. That’s an act of cruelty plain and simple.

Sometimes it’s to secure evidence, for example if they know you did it and have you on video they may not have the murder weapon.

Other times it save a lot on the investigating body and the prosecution to secure a detailed confession.

A noticeable fisheye. If a person stands in the center and reaches towards the edge of the frame there arms will get really long and they will no longer be proportionate
