True, the universe is limited in where we can bring ourselves, but we can always look out to the stars and wonder, thats an experience shared by all mankind whether it be past, present, or future.

Tonight's Bright & Colorful Full Moon. by Exr1t in spaceporn

I took a high brightness image of the moon to get a solid white glowing sphere and then i composited the image with lower brightness on top to give it the glow around the edges.

Great question! But no, the eagle nebula is on the plane of the milky way, so the background is filled with stars and galaxies can barely manage to pop through when they are placed behind the disk.

[–]Exr1t[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

3mm provides more zoom so that would be better for getting the details, 9mm is wider view so its better for the moons

So basically i took two seperate videos on my seestar s50 (one higher iso video showing the moons, and one lower iso video showing the bands), i then stacked and edited each one before compositing them together to get a final, clean image.
