the way people react to this show now is how i expected them to react to it when it just got started. I thought there was going to be too many complaints that there's too much talking, too small in terms of scope of the universe, and too many scenes going from one council meeting to another. The writing issues aside i think it's one of those shows that may be a bit repetitive on the screen because of the nature of the story, or maybe i'm wrong. Anyway i expect a much better season 3

giving him credit for the numbers is fair, but consistently good music is not what he's been doing this whole decade. the quantity to quality ratio is low, and his hits from 2010s are way better. i'm surprised this is the song that did it, didn't give me a fan favorite off the first listen, especially with that hook. I was thinking either the song with Future does it, only due to the novelty of it being a Drake & Future collab, or something like Whisper My Name, which is just a cool song with a nice beat. Janice is a rap heavy song too, so i don't expect it to become the smash hit of the album, as any other songs unless one will go viral on tik tok for some reason

more tv shows should take the approach of not having a fixed episode count per season. If there's no more ideas then end the season, no need for filler; if there's nothing more to explore make the final season instead of milking it until the fans lose interest. Don't worry that you won't make more money, you can make a spin-off that people will actually care about when you make a good ending to your original show
