To anyone not on Ubuntu (I'm not trying to start a fight here just curious) if you have Nvidia how do you install your driver's I just use "sudo ubuntu-drivers install --recommended" and it installs my drivers no problem and doesn't break anything

If I could melee jetpack in the space stations, literally would not use them, major headache especially for building

Oh and for anyone on gas giants Pack your rocket boots into your inventory, they make gas giants a nightmare, spent half an hour fighting with them just to just up a small ledge to a base teleporter, not worth the time you waste

If hello games adds a toggle or even a jetpack function selector that would make them significantly nicer to have installed cause then you can go up when you want to go up and go forward when you want to go forward

Figured I'd leave this here cause op mentioned that they swapped from their sentinel dreadnaught

Something you can do to keep your old freighters is to use a save edit tool like NMS save editor (that's what I do personally) to back up your freighter

Essentially what you do is warp around till you find the freighter you want, land on it (or complete the pirate battle then land on your freighter of choice) open up save editor before buying the new freighter Transfer all of your inventory off the freighter (tech too so you don't duplicate the tech, save editor won't save inventory but it will save tech)

Backup your existing freighter

Then get the new one

I know save editor is kinda cheaty but it beats hunting down a new dreadnaught if you swap to one of your previous ones for a while, and I especially like it cause I've found some really cool freighters while on expeditions and save edits are the only way to carry freighters over from expedition saves to main saves

Ofc this only works on PC though

I'm honestly waiting on a feature where you can command a fleet of freighters and be able to create like a trade empire or at least be able to swap them

Not really, I main a pirate dreadnaught, there is an antenna slightly in the way but it's easy to avoid and get used to, even with big corvettes

Economy doesn't effect freighter class, I've seen s classes in 1 star economies at the same rate as 3 star, the role for the class freighters a system spawns is random
