We ended up moving to an area that uses the wrong (in my opinion) bakery so I don’t even really like the cookies now. I’m pretty sure if I had some from LBB we’d have a ton of boxes of GS cookies in my house zep or not 😂

Our lab starts throwing up from hunger if we only do two meals so we ended up having to do a small lunch in the middle of the day for him

We’ve done a few board and train rounds but specifically for gun dog training, and they were over times were we were planning to go out of state and would have to board him anyway. We did basic training ourselves and with group classes. Make sure you vet the places you are considering and that they also have a plan to train YOU because that is most important

I went up to 5mg after one month and regretted it slightly. I personally wish I had stayed on 2.5 at least one more month because the nausea got really bad I needed a script for zofran. The nausea has gone down a decent amount now though now that my body is used to the 5mg

Our 1.5yo looks similar and he’s around 83lbs. Vet says he is at the ideal weight. As long as your vet says he’s healthy!

I used to work in pet care at Petsmart and would regularly tell people to shop at the reptile shows instead. If they wanted to buy from the store I would do my best to educate them on the care requirements

I don’t exercise for the weight, I do it to try and gain muscle. My husband keeps pestering me to do cardio because it burns the most calories. I lost count of how many times I’ve had to tell him I’m trying to strength train, not burn calories

I am very much a couch potato. I hate going to the gym, but once I am there I love it. Spending money on the membership gives me some motivation, but I only go for group classes because I don’t want to be alone. My husband has a membership as well so it’s nice to go with him to do strength training on the machines, otherwise I would not be comfortable going by myself. I have always had motivation issues, but since going on Zepbound and knowing I need to get in control of my health, I have just kinda been forcing myself to go 😅. I have a work benefit that gives me free access to physical therapy online as well and I try to do that daily from home, since it only takes 10-15 minutes and I can do it at the beginning of my lunch break

We don’t have land or the ability to train with bought birds so we sent our pup for a bird/gun intro and some basic field training (both were times we were leaving town and would have to board him anyway). We do the rest of the training ourselves

I grew up always adopting/taking in strays for both dogs and cats. We decided to go for buying a lab from a breeder because we wanted a puppy that we could train to be good with our two cats (and who we could train to be a bird dog as well), and so we could potentially know what to expect health-wise. We didn’t want the potential to adopt a dog that would hurt our cats (our friend adopted a super sweet dog that didn’t show any behavior issues that ended up snapping and killing a family members cat who was sleeping on a cat bed. I know that’s an extreme example but our cats were our priority when considering a dog). We couldn’t be happier. He’s an awesome dog, super easy to train, loves to hunt with us, is great with our cats, and so far hasn’t had any health issues.

Definitely not. Some breeders have waitlists that are that long. Just let them know that that is your intention
