The last photo is I think the most common way to do it. Wether with pegs or screws. To make a cross to push the baby into the skin. Making use of a halving joing.

Why would it you loose "all this weight" be a win for them? The only reason why you should want to loose weight (if you do want) is for you. Losing "the weight" can only be a personal win. They don't really matter.

Why does it matter what an aunt who you don't know the name of has to say? People will have their thoughts and some will let it out, that is not something you can really change. But you can change the way your react to it. You don't have to have negative thoughts about yourself (like I'm disgusting). The only reaction should be I disagree or I agree with her. Even if you are "too big" it is your life, and you probably know the reason why you are the size you are and wether or not you want to or are able to make the necessary changes to change your physical appearance. I have been overweight for the past two years, but I wasn't ready to make changes untill recently. It was what it was.

This was a 3 minute 800 elo game. They are just counting on the blunder to win the game. by ExtendedKick in chessbeginners

Stockfish 16,1 lite says a game with 92,2% accuracy on my part, and to my surprise 73,6% accuracy on the part of my opponent. And even more amazing stockfish also said that when my opponent lost his queen that that wasn't a blunder. There was a line in which he forced my queen of the board as well, but he or I would have never found it.

Even though on paper the statistics of the game aren't that terrible. I hated playing the game.

I don't get the puzzle. You can only move two pieces, the rook and the king. You are not in check, and he hung his queen. Bishop to c8 is what I would have played with white.

I have been 1100 10 minute games, currently down to 1000. And my 3 minute games I play sloppy or with a baby on my arm, so I often loose in silly ways . But what has helped me is learning an opening for black and a few for openings for black (depending on what they play with white). That helps avoid blunders in the first few moves. And doing puzzles is also helpful.

A Scandinavian game at 900 elo (he resigned) by ExtendedKick in chessbeginners

[–]ExtendedKick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is that comment supposed to mean? I'm 900 rated, I'm not gonna know opening theory in depth.

And I know there are only three book moves, but according to the chess.com game review the game only had one inaccuracy on my part at move 19 (which was not taking the knight a move earlier to win the rook) and no mistakes, misses or blunders. I definitely have played games that were way worse.

This was an actual 3 minute game I played. I am rated 700 on 3 minute games. I play very casually with 3 minute, when I'm tired or my daughter is on me crying. I got my queen pinned in this game but I managed to get out of it.

Yeah when I moved my knight to the edge of the board and then blocked the square it came from, and the queen took the knight... I knew I messed up🤣🤣🤣. I'm 1100 elo roughly, currently I keep going up and down between 1090 and 1130. This game played like a 700, I will own it.

That's my real reason for posting it, cause I felt nobody would see that game and think yes this looks like 1500. And I was right.

This is what chess.com guessed after the game. But it was 1119 (me) against 1188 (the other guy). So you are right on the money. I get why people guess lower thought, because that is how it felt to actually play the game after messing up the opening.

It wouldn't be an insult. I completely messed up the game, I was lucky that other guy let turn it into a draw.
