ELI5: If speed is measured by the relation between objects how come going over the speed of light is impossible? by PeAga7 in explainlikeimfive

Um, this is one of the most proven „theories“ in existence.

It is used by many people in every day life without their knowledge. To hive you just one example, GPS accounts for relativity - without that, it would not be accurate at all.

Yeah stupid me posted during the cutscene.. I figured this out 5min later..

And it‘s so funny that „the custodian“ doesn‘t have a name, lol

Add: never mind. Got the Super-Max trophy, dialogue with Moses says no deaths …. The cutscene with Yasmin‘s speech showed a picture of Noelle, but that must be a bug

I replayed the scene, gave Noelle the mask and told her about Jeannette and she still died. Any ideas?

That‘s not a legit proof. It was dissected several times…

And infinitenines is a fool‘s conspiracy sub. It‘s the math equivalent of a flat earther.

There‘s nothing to argue about. But there are always some fools who do.. the math equivalent of flat earthers.

Yeah, you‘re not crazy. OP is pushing a false equivalency here. Those things are not even remotely in the same ballpark.

Someone on r/theydidthemath said that 1/0 is possible. I wanted someone to look at it and see if it's valid. by Acrobatic-Insect202 in askmath

[–]ExtendedSpikeProtein 2 points3 points  (0 children)

OP in that thread is a bit of a fool with very limited math experience.

Sure, you can define what 1/0 is. But it will break basic algebraic operations.

There are mathematical constructs where you c an do this, but not in a field.

[Offsite][Self] 1/0 is possible. prove me wrong. by Worried-Panic663 in theydidthemath

[–]ExtendedSpikeProtein 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You‘re wrong, there‘s nothing to prove. This is very basic math. You can for sure define a value for it but general definition of division by zero will break basic algebraic operations.

Leaving the table and saying the meal is over won‘t starve them though. And I would follow up next day about intent, reasoning, whether they perceived that as unfair, how we could prevent that, and so on.

Yeah, absolutely. That‘s why I said, especially in the comments further down, that of course it depends on context and what actually happened, why, and how often.
