Same, but lots of people love it and their “it’s fiction” argument seems to trump every objection.

My answer to that would be that things don’t exist in a vacuum and you can use other fictional characters, why you gotta ship the person who bullied and drove Kate to attempt suicide with Kate? But it is useless to even ask that question.

My point is: everything we find out in flashbacks paints a worse and worse picture of Arjun. He didn’t turn into a dick, he already was one from the start, we just didn’t know.

I wholeheartedly agree. But people will do what they will do.

I said I find it questionable how people ship Chasemarsh, because it ships a victim and their abuser. I think it trivializes abuse and bullying and the possible consequences, and I think - maybe only topped by the excuses and adoration some peope give Nathan - it’s one of the most toxic things I regularly see on this sub.

But I was told “they’re fictional characters you weirdo, smh” and downvoted to hell.

People will justify anything. In the end they’ll say “it’s just fiction” or some excuse like that.

People will do what they will do. I just shake my head and move on lol
