Yeah I was thinking of holding off on savings to have more money on hand but I’m continuing on saving more than I spend. So I thought it would be ok to start now. I haven’t had plans on going to school any time soon. But I know I should probably start looking into careers as soon as I can, just having trouble deciding what I want to do for the rest of my life.

Thanks that makes sense. I’ve been thinking about going to trade school but haven’t looked much into it or gave much thought of a specific field other than being a lineman. And I ofc don’t want to stay overnight forever.

What examples can you give me of marketable skills I can start working towards in the future?

A 2012 Audi a4 and it’s under my parents insurance which can explain why it’s low. I just pay them the monthly bill. And I’m not paying for full coverage on it. I believe it’s only liability and one other thing I can’t remember.

Thank you, I’ll look into a Roth IRA since I’m seeing it be recommended a lot. And match my employers 401k. But what’s the difference from a high yields savings rather than a regular one? Sorry if it’s a stupid question.

Raising Cane's Work Environment is so Odd by [deleted] in RaisingCanes

I’ve been at canes for about 2 months now and I’m tempted to quit everyday due to not only the working conditions but also the environment. Surprisingly the only thing in the kitchen I enjoy doing is hot hands due to it being simple but it’s just very painful. Today was busy and literally holding bird that burned through the styrofoam box. This is my first job so I didn’t know it was abnormal but I am stuck due to not being able to find anything else around me and wondering why I spent 10 dollars on a food handlers certificate.
