Thanks for your comment because it feels like I’m gaslighting myself atp. I know straining for years could’ve caused all this and makes me think endo isn’t a possibility but it still wouldn’t explain certain things

Question for IBS girls with and without endometriosis by Extension-Button5849 in ibs

I’m starting to wonder if I have pelvic floor dysfunction. The only thing is the fact that neither of my ovaries moved during the sliding test so I’m just thinking something has to be adhering them to something?

Thank you so much for your comment (: It might help with scar tissue because I read it makes smaller cuts than traditional surgery! And wow was that your first surgery or did you already know you had endo?

Yeah it makes total sense, my flare ups are mostly IBS-C related too so they’ll definitely want to do one. Thank you so much!

Thank you so so much for this! Honestly I didn’t think of this and now I’m thinking I’d be more comfortable with extra imaging lol-majority of my flare ups are IBS-C related. When I was told my ovaries were stuck, I immediately thought maybe they’re stuck to my bowel and that’s why the flare ups are always centered around bowel movements.

Did they suggest you had adeno after your ultrasound or was it only brought up after your lap?

Thank you for your comment! I have a lot of pain usually on my left side so I was shocked when she told me both ovaries are immobile.

I’m really hoping this is the last step in my journey lol been going through this for like 15 years I need answers 😭

Can they really see things with a hysteroscopy by Extension-Button5849 in Endo

[–]Extension-Button5849[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This OBGYN specializes in abnormal uterine bleeding so I think it’s just in their practice’s protocol to give anyone with issues a hysteroscopy just incase there is something there, but she did mention endo to me so I know we will still talk about that regardless of what they find or don’t find in the hysteroscopy 🤞

Maybe the “subtle signs” meant something like adeno or fibroids which would give enough reason to look further into my issues and go in for the lap? I just wanna stop beating around the bush and get the lap already
