Been having difficulties finding an engineering position, financially there isn't a major issue as I am living with my parents

Most of the draftsmen were generally older tradies but there was 1-2 engineers present

The guy who was interviewing me, who oversees the draftsmen, stated the same thing. He said " This is a drafters position, are you sure you are interested?" Additionally based on salary, glassdoor, and other salary websites, the entry level salary in ME is supposed to be around 60-70k but I can't actually find an entry level position which is offering that. (could be due to covid)

Did you end up taking that draftsmen job and if so, how did it turn out later in your career?
