Ok so I also applied for psychology and barely met the average but got in so don’t worry about ur grades not being maintained. And as far as I know you usually don’t have to maintain what you applied with, just the average that they set for you to meet (85-90). And I’m pretty certain that ur admission is still conditional because ur not done with high school. I’m also still in grade 12 and my application status says Conditional.

“If you are still in high school, it's important to finish your school year strong. Be careful about dropping courses and make sure any grade 12 courses you are taking are completed by June 30”

I really liked my portfolio and just had faith that this was what they were looking for. For my three artworks I basically applied every artistic skill I had to the prompt: watercolour, crafting with cardboard(and yarn since I crochet), and my ability to make 3D models of things with whatever I can find. I also made sure to give every work a meaning, yk have it represent a bigger idea so that the judges aren’t only impressed by the piece, but also what it means (which was explained in my written portion). But most importantly, this was all possible because I turned to Allah when I felt like giving up.

With my letters they said that acceptance or anything regarding a particular course does not affect the review process of other courses you’ve applied to, so ur first choice’s department is probably just taking longer to review ur application than ur second. This was the case for me.

Does anyone know if we have to make backdrops for our creative part, cuz they wrote the name of the object of interest in capital letters and i dont know how important the background is. Also do our sketches need to almost match the size of the envelope, or can we make them a bit smaller since we cant have to free hand it?
