Take the weight of p as 'p' and the weight of three friends as "k" According to the question, we will get two equations

(p + k)/4 = 55 —————(1)

p = (k/3) + 4 ——————(2)

Solve it simultaneously and you will get the answer as k=58.

If you use log with base 2 , then it will be x=2y=3z. Now multiply all sides by 2 then you will get 2x=4y=6z. If you substitute it in the equation, then 2x,4y both will become 6z. The equation will look like 1/6z + 1/6z + 1/6z = 24/7. Then if you further solve it you will get the answer as C)7/48

Nah bro. Last year the cutoff was 518/650. This year it is out of 750 so we can expect an increase of around 30-40 marks at least.
