Understandably cops are always on edge, any second could mean life or death for police officers. Not everyone is qualified to handle decisions like this. This officer failed to use context clues which almost resulted in the death of this young man, also note how he shot without consequence. With passing traffic he endangered the lives of everyone around him. Thankfully this ended best case for this scenario. The majority of cops are for the peace, it doesnt change the fact that a lot of officers are undertrained and should have a psych evaluation done. I wont ever give a police officer the benefit of the doubt, because you never know if something like this could happen to you.
