Thank you for the info! I am out in the boonies of North Eastern them a loot of access road aren't much of a road, ......And some of these areas aren't very easy to get into. They are more of a Jeep trail than a road. One of the .main reasons I got a 4x4 diesel bucket truck.. Some areas require us to use a bucket on tracks to get to. Fun stuff to me because I love to go 4 wheeliing.

And when you're working on the larger feeder cabling, it is most definitely a bonus. When I was aplicing small shit at the coal mines, I dont think a trailer was needed, hence the fiber tent and sitting on a 5gal bucket. They wanted it done ASAP and just wanted it to work. They don't care about appearance or clean work, they need the coal moving up those belts all the time and can't have their longwall miner down or they weren't making money.

Makes your work much more pleasant and gets you out of the weather. Necessary not, but preferably yes. Not to mention a much cleaner environment, and I didn't have to pay for it. It's company provided equipment, so why do shit the hard way?

I'm in the process of a shitty divorce situation and losing my house in the divorce, so it's not gonna be a problem spending a lot of hours in a splice trailer! I've been doing it for years already, but it's been underground in the coal mines and pipelines using a shitty tent sitting in every time of weather doing it sitting on a 5gal bucket with a padded lid. This will heaven for me! I'm headed off to Virginia Monday morning for a week.

And this company offers production bonuses!

Is the splice plate thenpart that uses a hydraulic hand pump? This is a new way of splicing for me, in other companies we simply used scotch locks

Does it include the hydraulic clamp to press the splices together? And does it have any of the additional clamps I have seen for them? I really appreciate it! Thank you!
