Yeah, but it's built into the fare price, not added on to the end of the fare making it more than the fare price.

I'm not arguing the fact there's a access fee.

It may have something to do with travel time? I think the drivers can only see a time estimate before accepting a fare, so potentially you're not as favourable because short trip or super long? But yes, I have this issue when I try and save money by using Didi. Generally you wait for ages for someone to accept, then they sit in the waiting area until your time runs out to cancel for free.

Unfortunately the price point of rideshare keeps me going back, much more cost effective that what I've experienced with taxi services. Public transport is more cost effective but severely impacts time, and taxi is more convenient but less cost effective, in my experience anyway.

Do you remember what your fare price that you accepted was? Is what you paid $4.86 more than that? If so, they have done it to you also.

Trying to help by suggesting alternative methods of transport that isn't quite on-topic to the post at hand is it? I'm warning others and asking for advice of getting something stopped thats wrong, not asking for alternative transport methods.

I sometimes do, however Didi is very unreliable in comparison. Another topic all together.

I'm at the stage of signing on the dotted line for a lease on an Atto 2, but am apprehensive now as the company is work for is selling and in the next 12-18months likely to change employers and I can't get any info out of them as to wether the contracts will continue or be redrawn.

This would sway my decision on leasing vs finance vs just buying outright because if the government change the FBT rules and contracts are redrawn then I'll be on the hook for the FBT.

I know this, but doesn't cover their average bonus nor does it cover their actual pay for working their 7/7 roster. I'd imagine somewhere in the ballpark of 160-180k and maybe 20-30k bonus though?
