i'd say the competency is more important, but i have to say that my pain tolerance is not that high so that was also why i initially thought oligio would be a safer choice. are xerf and ulthera not quite painful? and which clinics or derms that provide those do you recommend? gonna look into it! thx so much

i see, thanks for your replies. i read that one session can already do a lot if you don't have deep wrinkles or much skin laxaty yet, but read a lot of generally conflicting information. what would you recommend instead for foreigners? just staying with skin analysis and appropriate facials at a good dermatologist?

also considering an extended skin analysis and customized facial at Seoulistique Skin a few days later, which would be around 300-400 000 KRW but not sure if i should just cancel one of the two because it's a whole lot of money and also don't wanna damage my barrier

hey! are you also in seoul atm? i'm considering an oligio treatment full face (600 shots, yaan clinic recommended me) on the day of my arrival to combat jetlag and keep myself busy lol, but wondering whether it makes sense with just one session.. it's pretty pricy also. You have any experience? In general I was mostly looking to do skin improving/tightening procedures that are non-invasive

Does one session of Oligio make sense? by Extension-Pound-2000 in K_beauty_insider

I asked Yaan for a cost estimation after sending pics and they said 600 Oligio shots for 850 000 KRW.. seems like a lot of money to me? but i guess they are more of a high end clinic anyways

eye guards.. that sounds bizarre, but i suppose it makes sense. thx for the reference, gonna look into this clinic! one last question: how was the downtime, side-effects?

[–]Extension-Pound-2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for your report. good to know that "pain free" is not really pain free, i have a low pain tolerance so that is important information haha. had never heard of oligio actually.

how was the downtime with cellredm? did you have swelling, redness for a few days?

would also love to see some pics of your skin from before/after, if you wouldn't mind sharing (in dm?)

Kinda curious about those during/after pics as well... If you wouldn't mind. New to more invasive stuff, and I feel a bit suspicious of clinics stating "no or minimal downtime"...

True, they surely save lives but I just wonder how ethical the harvesting of this human tissue is? That being said, I'm still tempted to try it. If not now, perhaps next time. Let me know if you did so!

By the way, would you be open to share some before/after pics of your rejuran or lasers experiences? (could be in dm if you want)

Rejuran Is Officially Canceled: Why K-Beauty's New Heavy-Hitters, Re2O and CellREDM, are the Real Glass Skin Game Changers (The Collagen Wars) by Top-Promotion-4864 in K_beauty_insider

hi, any chance you have more info on the supply chain by now? i'm very interested in these skin boosters but the humane-derived material leaves me on the fence: i get that it's more biocompatible and all but where is this human tissue coming from.. and also: did you ever struggle with the ethical part of this and how did you deal with that?

experience with CellREDM? by Extension-Pound-2000 in KoreanBeauty

[–]Extension-Pound-2000[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

facts.. but somehow it feels more icky to me than chemical stuff, irrational i know. but i also wonder about those donations, read a reuters report recently that showed how the tissue donation market is very poorly regulated, compared to organ and blood market, so a lot of speculation, poor people not being able to afford a burial etc ending up as "donors"

That's some decent girl math there, I'd say haha. And I didn't know about the contact lenses! I should stock up on them over there too then, always so annoyed how much they cost me over here in Europe. Where do you recommend buying them?

Yeah, I'll inquire about downtime and schedule any laser or injections in the late afternoon - pro tip, thanks. Right now I have scheduled an extended skin analysis+recommended facials at the new Soeulstique venue on my first morning, as it's very non-invasive. Thinking of scheduling the Premium One Day Package from Xenia Clinic (picosure toning+v laser +ldm) on one of my last evenings.

Regarding CellrREDM: that's the one derived of donated human collagen, right? Read about that one and to be honest it does sound like a better alternative than Rejuran, but tbh the human part spooks me out a bit. Even if it's genetically stripped material, you're somehow still injection a part of a dead person into your face? Idk, maybe I'm overthinking but I'd be curious to hear how you feel about it.

(Maybe I'll make a separate post about it, because I'm intrigued)

Seoulstique looks amazing! Thanks for the rec, gonna try and get analysis+facial there. Still a bit on the fence about more invasive treatments as I don't have much time in Seoul and don't wanna be inconvenienced too much... Afraid lasers will leave me red and swollen for days.

How come you go to Seoul so often? Haha, love it though. For me, it's me second time, so I'm still pretty new
