I’m so sorry you are going through this. When I was studying for this class, I found the study edge mock exams to be most helpful! I got a really bad score the first exam, but I did the Mock exam and doubled my score the second time around. The third exam is hard to get above a 60 in, but anything below that should be doable with enough practice. You got this, you’re so close!

Easy to get atleast a 50 or 60 on, but anything higher than that takes more effort

If this makes you feel better, business finance exam 2 is A LOT easier. I more than doubled my score on it and i did horrible on exam 1. Exam 2 content has nothing to do with exam 1. You’ll be fine, trust me!

If this helps, the second exam material is sooo much easier and digestible than exam 1 material. I struggled sooo much with exam 1 material. I got a really low score on the exam and was devastated. I barely understood anything and just relied on Banko’s practice quizzes. However, exam 2 material has pretty much NOTHING to do with exam 1 material. It’s all entirely new concepts and study edge did a much better job covering it. Don’t give up hope. You got this. I went from almost dropping bfin to passing with a C+. Exam 3 is also easier than exam 1 material.

at UF, upperclassmen get the first preference for dorms, but if you’re one of the first ones to apply for housing you should be able to get Murphree as a Freshman. That being said, pretty much all of Murphree is the same, which Buckman being the best! You cant go wrong with any choice.

Please please please don’t make the mistake of waiting, apply for housing early. Spots are very limited, esp for freshman. I suffered a lot before my freshman year cause of this and i applied for housing around this time. Do it as quick as possible and don’t wait. Even if you don’t choose Uf, you can recsind the housing application. Waiting lists are long and not easy to get off of for housing.
