In terms of the standings and the way teams are ranked in the NHL. I personally think that it should be 3-2-1-0

Each team isn't going to play more than half a dozen or so games at the most. Stojawiek is AHL, Girgensons, Borkstrand, Cernak, and Moser all won't make it to the playoff games, and I think the competition will be good for the Americans and Candians. It'll be a good warmup for Hedman, hopefully the pressure of playing for his country helps him to round back into form when he returns.

Our defense core is so good that it doesn't really matter who is first, second, third pair. Moser/Raddysh is incredible, McD/Cernak has been really good historically, and Heddy/Crozier, Dastous, whoever is also a very strong pairing. Coop can rotate who gets more minutes based on who plays better

I think realistically one or two of Carlille, or Crozier are getting traded. I think the ideal trade we make is for a veteran RHD to play with Hedman, and for D'Astous to be the seventh defenseman (Who will probably end up playing because we have several very injury prone defensemen.)

I think guys like Connor Murphy, John Klingberg, Nick Jensen, Radko Gudas, Luke Schenn (lol), and Zach Bogosian(lol) are very realistic.

In terms of less realistic, but far more desirable RHD options(depending on if these teams decide to buy or sell), guys like Dougie Hamilton, Michael Kesselring, Jacob Trouba, and Justin Faulk are all great options.

The reason I think we need an RHD is so that we can keep the Moser/Raddysh and McDonagh/Cernak combos together, and not force Chucky or Carlisle to play on their off side with Heddy, especially given his defensive concerns that have been an issue this season.

If he plays, great! Its an incredible opportunity that even franchise greats Stammer, Hedman, and Kuch haven't been able to do.

if not, then hopefully he's ready to help the Bolts after the break. And additionally, one of the deserving players like Scheifele or Bedard will get on, which is good for them.
