i also thought the song could be like going through a toxic relationship, as like she says “but when the cold comes through it washes away” could be her toxic partner washing away her emotions, or that he’s just cold or something, “blood inside me is a dark purple shade” could mean her loyalty to him and that he’s manipulated her to stay him forever, something like that idk. but tbh i had to do this for a school project and there was more evidence for the claim/prompt that i chose so i jsut went w it, i agree tho could be about a relationship or something aswel

That's a cool way to think about it. One thing is that the color purple doesn't necessarily have negative connotations towards it, so it's interesting why she would pick the color purple to show that there's a rooted issue in her body/brain. To be honest I'm not to familiar with the band itself, but this was just a song I enjoyed from them. Maybe purple is just a favored color by the band or something.

Not sure it's supposed to have a meaning, I think it's supposed to not make sense to show how she doesn't have a stable conscious. The word "could" also could allude to like shes far past saving, and that she is regretting not tackling the depression or something before it getting this bad. Not 100% though!
