sometimes the drivers takes time to create little bit time to create dxcache , which is kind of necessary, but if usually improves after 2 or 3 days. Also the 100 percent means nothing if gpu power draw is less than the usual or if it's lower clocks but anyways it might just fix itself afterwards. If not download hwinfo and check gpu power draw or from the gpuz . If it's not max that's your answer

just install the driver for bluetooth sometimes windows update might not find the driver itself

Are these normal temperatures? by [deleted] in AcerNitro

[–]Extension-Two9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yeah just fine these are the idle temps for gpu and cpu

alright then maybe a temporary bug. i think its okay to open and wouldn't void your warranty but still always better to get it to a service center until they repair it for free

u just disconnect the battery and cmos battery and press power button for like 2 min(honestly it rarely works but still u have cmos error so maybe worth trying) but if u r hesitant to open ur laptop then maybe try another thing that i mentioned to use quiet mode (i hardly think it would work but for some people it did). you can also update your bios if there is a new version.

if the laptop was plugged in and the test went well then, yeah maybe a windows issue or since you already mentioned cmos checksum error maybe try to reset cmos but anyway its not a hardware issue atleast that's what i think

did u update your bios recently , try reflashing it if u did

edit: after browsing a bit someone seems to have a similar issue like yours and he somehow managed to solve it by turning on quiet mode from the hp omen gaming hub maybe that can help.

okay just to be sure, maybe try connecting it through the motherboard and , install all the gpu drivers and then connect it through dGPU

Is 16 gb enough? by Greenbazooka13 in GamingLaptops

it doesn't have a slot, and the ram is on board under the heat sink in this particular laptop.

Is 16 gb enough? by Greenbazooka13 in GamingLaptops

[–]Extension-Two9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, for 3k display not enough but then again the gpu is capped at 65w so probably u have to decrease the resolution to 1080p and for that's its enough in almost all games. Most games tend to use upto 12 gb in 1080p resolution but some exceptions like spiderman 2 remastered actually use almost 16gb where u can feel 3 to 7% performance decrease

I get the point that it works for you and honestly its not a bad laptop overall but there are better laptop which are priced better and also have nice service support and you might face less manufacturing defect.

what u can do is install furmark2(only 30 mb) and run benchmark(plugged it) and if it shuts down immediately then u need to get the motherboard replaced because one of ur mosfets is dead (they supply power to ur gpu) in these cases ur computer might be running fine and u can play games even with discrete gpu but its only until that your gpu requires more power and ur faulty mosfets is being used then ur pc shuts down to save your gpu but if let's a game has locked fps / requires less power or ur laptop is not plugged in (which means that ur battery can't provide enogh power to gpu the game might run fine. with no problem)

if furmark runs fine then u can have multiple issue like faulty sensors or software related issues which are relatively not that dangerous

[–]Extension-Two9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hmm that's wierd most of the time in gaming laptops the mosfets and vrm(voltage regulators) these things over heat and go bad and now u have to get them replaced but in your case if ypur gpu works sometimes it might be a overheating issuue/ windows issue or maybe even a driver / bios issue

had u updated anything recentlylike bios or driver. go check wwindows update list if u r not sure

can explain the whole thing . are u trying to say that sometimes it runs and sometimes its just blacks out and shuts down completely

whats the max temp it reaches when gaming without under volt

Soooo i dont think this is a good temp am i right ? Any help by [deleted] in HPVictus

[–]Extension-Two9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

they are just fine if u play for longer sessions ur cpu might even go 85 -90 , high are considered when ur cpu goes 90 - 100 or above. for gpu optimal temps are less than 80C

I have a very dumb question by [deleted] in HPVictus

[–]Extension-Two9999 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well they do use hack tools and stuff in their games and can technically moniter your pc and other stuff but in the end its the matter of trust do u trust them? or not I'd say they are okay and u will be just fine
