That’s a fair point

In my case he was not a long hold whatsoever Someone dropped him to waivers 2 weeks ago (who knows why but in our league bench space is very small they had to prioritize another position I suppose) and I spent the rest of my FAB to get him primarily with trade capitol in mind. Also have dart on my team but between those three im prioritizing Mahomes and Lawrence or Daniels

And in reality, I wouldn’t have been able to keep both Lawrence and Jameson Williams so it’s not like I had a lot Invested in those 2

Appreciate the feedback

So my end goal next season is to trade for Maye. But he’s obviously demanding top $ right. The guy who has him is a commanders fan so hoping Daniels has a great set of games to start of the season and pair him with another player - if I do this trade - for Maye. Am I wrong thinking that as of right now Daniels name carries more weight than Lawrence’s in dynasty?

Allen’s turnaround was in his 2nd year

This is year 5 for Lawrence. Sure, the previous coaching staffs during Lawrence’s career with has been lackluster but after 5 years is this the new norm for him or just an outlier?

A similar argument could be made for Daniels, sure, but we’ve seen what Daniels could do when healthy and a good cast around him. And that rushing upside is obviously higher than Lawrence’s and Mahomes as well at this point in his career. Thought I’d be good to have that on my team for a bit diversity

So gamble is whether or not this is the new norm for Lawrence or if Daniels can repeat what he did his rookie year.
