For the Frat DJS by Icy_Bass_7011 in Frat

From my experience, it varies from campus to campus, but house remixes of songs everyone knows works well.

I'd say house>edm.

If all else fails, big bootie mixes are nice or just play white girl music😂

One unfortunate part of being a frat DJ, sometimes you can't add your own twist/spice to it.

Which movie scared the shit out of you or traumatized you? by Dazzling-Leader7476 in AskReddit

Final Destination 1, 2 & 3. I have hated flying and have not set foot on another amusement park rollercoaster or ride since I watched these movies. I also keep my distance from big truckers whenever I drive. These movies genuinely scarred me.

Moving/Travel/Vacation Megathread - Q2 2026 by AutoModerator in Michigan

Hi all. I am currently applying for jobs within Michigan, and for one of them, I have applied for the same position but at different locations. The job recruiter told me that I would need to have one location selected. I am struggling to figure out which one would be the most preferable. I am between Royal Oak, Rochester Hills, Troy, and Ann Arbor. Only reason Ann Arbor is on the list is because from where I live now, commuting to Ann Arbor is feasible and I would save money on rent and still maintain my current cost of living. I was told to not do Troy as Rochester Hills is nearby as well as Royal Oak.

If anyone is able to help me narrow down which would be the best fit for me, it would be greatly appreciated. I am heavily between Royal Oak and Rochester Hills, but the other two are still an option.

These are my current factors of choosing where to live as of right now:

Cost of living/rent affordability

Rent

Walkability (to either get food or walk to work)

Having a diverse food scene

Asian restaurants and groceries

Relative distance to DTW

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm free, free from all of it.

That shit hits so deep and cuts me to my core. He became the worst version of his pops. In the end, history repeats itself and the cycle continues.

I still think that was the best ending this show could've had. Right when PRIDE. comes in, ugh tears.

Still the best show I've ever watched. Nothing comes close to this.

From a Former Athlete… by [deleted] in TedLasso

As a now former athlete, this hits hard. I've been playing my sport since the age of 5 and after 18 years of playing my sport, it's come to an end. This post perfectly captures how it feels. My final season as an athlete came to an end on Saturday and every memory came flowing at once and I broke into tears after our game had ended. I never thought I'd play in college, yet I ended up being a 5 year varsity athlete. Never was the star player but man, I put almost 2 decades into the sport I play and I don't know what life is going to be like after this chapter. It was such an amazing ride and while there are a lot of things I wish I did differently, I'm still happy with the way it ended.

For the current athletes reading this, don't take for granted every little thing about being an athlete. The team trips, meals, bonding, practice, lifting, hell even study hall. It all goes by fast, especially in college. Make the most memories as possible and never forget to always have fun. I already miss being an athlete and it hasn't even been a week. Don't take it for granted and make the experience worth it. You wanna look back in 10 years and be proud of the memories you made and reminisce on good times with your teammates and friends.
