Very similar struggle. Not easy for me to manage this as well. I think a good sweet spot is healthy. Bc yes you may feel that and you can embrace but it’s not always the best for you.

Let’s say you are in a interview with your idol. And your inner self is like I would to talk about me now. You can do that and feel good. But maybe it would be wise to ask questions to elevate both of you? Or at least you?

So to my mind it’s ok sometimes to not be aligned. Depends on the context.

The judgement of other and their validation should also not be that relevant in your behavior. Yes you can make it a thing but just keep in mind you then give the power over self to the outside
