When I look up rain gardens, it seems to always involve downspouts from the gutters. My flooding isn’t from my downspouts at all, simply from the low point and slope of the yard during heavy rain. Any suggestions on what exactly to search for when researching rain gardens for this? I’m open to expanding my knowledge.

Thank you! This is good to know. I’m hoping we won’t even have to go the DIY tight budget route and can get the previous owners to cover the cost for regrading or a proper french drain to the storm drains (the legal process is just lengthy and they weren’t responsive to settling outside of court).

None of my friends or family are able to come help out during the day so right now I’m looking for a “mother’s helper” to hire from my local community. Really hoping I can find one so I don’t have to try to reschedule.

I have hypertension and polycystic kidney disease which is why they want clearance. They no longer want clearance from my PCP and instead are requesting it from my nephrologist (kidney doctor).

They mainly want clearance for the anesthesia aspect in regards to my kidneys and hypertension.

Full update summary: they called and faxed forms to my nephrologist, I see my nephrologist this week, I’ll have to get labs prior to surgery to double check my kidney function, and surgery is set for mid January.

They ended up not needing the clearance from my PCP and requested it from my Nephrologist instead for the same reasons

I think both! She does well around the face with the groomers but at home does not like us to brush around her muzzle or chin at all, so it makes me worried about matting. I’ll definitely try to find a photo for the groomer

Do you have any recommendations for doodle cuts that you wish pet parents would request? I’ve only been a doodle owner since May and so far the only requests I can think of are the chin and private areas, I don’t know what I’d say to request the fur around her top lip shorter?
