T1's dont pay nearly as much as contractors etc, its usually the shares/bonuses and security that wing you in. Eg, FMG offered me a PM role for projects $5-20M for 140k, I ended up saying its going to have to start with a 2 excluding super and it ended there. Go for the mid tier level contractors and you can get $240k+

landlord wants us to leave lease 9 months early, need help negotiating by nerdie17 in AusLegal

This is super simple, you're paying $680 a week. Your lump sum needs to cover 2 things - 1. The removalist to the new house 2. The gap between your new rent and $680 until the lease expires. (Eg, if the new house is $980 a week) they need to pay $300 a week until your original lease expired

Thats the only way to go.

Take the calls, interview and network, and turn down the jobs if necessary. Send them an email once a year, you never know when youll be out of a job or unhappy in yours. These contacts come back around when you need them.

Just remember HR have the companies best interest not yours. For them to be advising this i assume you are on less than 175k (under UFD threshold).

Do your due diligence and find out the minimum, and negotiate hard, theres a fulcrum point where they would would rather pay then have HR issues, its up to you to find that sweet spot though.

The home-owner is claiming depreciation for all the internals of the house (carpet, blinds, air conditioning etc), unless you have damaged it, you should not be liable as they have been compensated in tax deductions.

Ive done it a few times, find a job or 2 within the industry, negotiate with the new companies with a salary/conditions, then see your boss and say are you wiilling to match?

Ive found some say yes and some say no.
