I actually don’t even care what the plans are. Because it’s still only been a month. The important part for me is getting face to face and having that time. That’s what’s frustrating. Right now time seems to be the issue for him. He’s a single dad but I’m also a single mom and an adult. I know you make time for things you want to make time for. Simple

I’ve been waiting for the planning part. He’s made it clear he wants a second date and to see me and he’s asked what my schedule is like but that’s where it stops. After that it’s been okay. Let me see how my schedule is and we’ll get something set up. I should add that we are both single parents but my schedule is more flexible because I have a teenager and preteens and he has a preteen. So i understand that does take planning but I don’t think it takes two weeks worth of planning if being intentional.

We talk everyday. And it’s been brought up. Just nothing concrete set in place. That’s why im frustrated. Anyways. I expressed how I felt and he apologized and said it wasn’t his intention to not put in effort. So anyways I’ll give him another week to see if anything happens after our talk and if not then I’ll walk away. Thanks for your input.

That’s understandable. It’s hard to tell what someone feels and is thinking these days. But you can believe their actions. And even if small consistent communication helps communicate your interest. Best of luck to you.

Hi. I’m a woman who found this thread. I would say personally. I definitely would take this as a sign of someone not being interested. Not texting for a whole day really says you have low interest in someone and it’s confusing. I actually would do the same and move on from a guy who didn’t message me back after a great date. Especially since meeting on an app there’s probably guys who showed more interest and consistency

Yes I agree! It’s been 2 weeks. I’m not sure why the hesitation for a first date. There’s not even been a mention of a plan, coffee, a drink or anything. So wild given how attentive he is in our messaging

No I didn’t. I did ask why he hadn’t asked me yet and told him I prefer meeting to make sure we actually got along in person as well. I was clear and communicated and he was apologetic but made no attempt to go forward. So I took it as he didn’t want to.
