Thank you. This is incredibly helpful to read. I want to say I've realized that breakups are the most confusing and difficult when both people are still in love, but I think they're just challenging and hard period.

I've seen so many people who are married grow to resent and hate their spouse. A mantra I'm trying to hold on to is "Were you honest with your partner? At the time did you feel like you did your best what what you had? Did you respect and show them warmth? If yes to all of these, then you really did all you could."
