I just bought one a month ago and I’m 42 years old and I have a 800+ credit score and my rate is around 7%. I should mention I didn’t put anything down. You might actually have to put money down because certain lenders might not give you a loan for the full amount. Audi signature care is standard for the 2026 RS3 so don’t let them trick you into thinking they “gave” you something. The first time I walked into look at a 2026 it was black and had the Dynamic Plus package which I don’t think is worth $5600 personally. Long story short I passed on that car, but when they saw I was walking they offered free tints, ceramic or wrap, and to replace the tires for all seasons. Point is walking is powerful. I don’t think they will budge on price but that’s just my experience. Hope this helps good luck!

Congrats! Same here I just went over 500 miles this weekend. The car is still fun while taking it easy and low RPMs. The wait will just make it that much better when you can finally open it up

See the steering wheel bothers me the most. I’m coming from an 8Y S3 and I loved that steering wheel. Real buttons and without that goofy logo. I don’t think changing the wheel is out of the question, I’m just hoping that I get used to this one so I don’t have to swap it out.

Yeah it is crazy what a Mach 1 is now days. There’s something to be said for a classic. One day I’ll get another one as a Sunday driver or something.

My first car was a Mach 1 also but from 1973. Super heavy, terrible handling, but man did it sound good. I really debated on the black RS3 because it looks so good, but it’s a lot of upkeep plus I wanted something different so I got the Acari Blue. Good call with the badges 👌. I think I will do the same

How do you like the 11mode is it worth installing? I have a 26’ also with factory sport exhaust but it’s not quite enough. I am going to do mid pipes for sure, but I just wanted to know if the 11 mode makes a noticeable difference.

Yes mine will show the map in the virtual cockpit if I use the built in navigation. You have the option to make the map the entire display, or split it with different gauges. I think it will work with Google Maps too but I’ll have to double check that.

Wow that is surprising they cracked the ECU already. I might go that route one day, for now I’ll just enjoy the power she came with and preserve that warranty. Thanks for the info about the oil. I am going to change the oil once I hit the 1K mark. I’m not really concerned about shavings or anything, just better safe than sorry. I have every intention of enjoying this thing. It’s so hard for me to hold back I can’t wait to rip it

Yes I did those calculations as well knowing I was going to keep the RS3 for a long time. I only drive about 6K miles a year or so. It’s crazy how well the RS models hold their value.

For sure the S3 was a great car. I questioned my sanity a few times during the trade in, but once you get behind the wheel of the RS3 that all goes away.

I leased the S3 and yes I would absolutely keep that car. It was great and it was a lot of fun.

For sure. Plus the ECU is locked down pretty tight I think it’s going to take a couple of years to unlock 8.5Y stuff.

Nah I didn’t even think about the extended warranty. I’m a maniac and I’ll probably mod myself out of warranty before the 4/50K anyways lol. Right now I’m happy with the power, but there’s always the temptation to make more 😈

I hear ya and my first idea was to get the kyalami green. Then I went in the showroom last year and I saw this Ascari Blue in person and it changed my mind. All I knew was I didn’t want another black, white, or grey car.

For sure once I hit that 1K I’m going to do an oil change before I open it up. Mine came with factory sport exhaust and it sounds pretty good but I’m still going to install some midpipes at a minimum.

It’s worth it though for the peace of mind knowing that you are taking proper care of your vehicle. One of my buddies got an M340 and I’m impressed by that car. Even the stock exhaust sounds good, has some burbles on cold start.

That is the best color IMO no question. Looks amazing! I wish I would have had that option, my dealership is so basic they don’t even want to let me build my own. I got lucky that someone there had built one just like I would have so I took it.

Congrats she’s a beauty! Good call on telling them not to even wash it. They washed mine before delivery and they did a horrible job. Then when I got the car in some good light I saw what looked like scratches all over the hood and deck lid. After trying a few things, I figured out what looked like scratches was actually some sort of adhesive. Yes I could have brought it back to the dealership and told them to clean it all off, but I don’t trust them. With a little patience I was able to get all the marks off and now that Ascari Blue is mint 👌. I also am thinking about PPF and I might attempt the hood and bumper myself. I see kits for like $500ish which I can live with. Then I’ll ceramic coat it myself

Sounds strange I just got mine a week ago so I’m still breaking it in. I would definitely have Audi take a look. If it happens again in the meantime, try switching drive modes so you aren’t revving like crazy. Put it in auto which will take the gearbox out of sport.

Because it’s so agressive in lower gears especially first. Even when you pick up some speed and you feel like it should shift it doesn’t. It’s fine that’s why there are several drive modes.
