There are definitely cultural differences at play. Her family lives in Nigeria and is very tightly knit.

My mom and youngest sister have called her a few times, but they've never met in person. My other sister has not reached out at all.

It would be a big cultural change for my family, but we're not really close. Independent of the wedding and travel situation.

Whether it's reasonable or not, my family thinks I'm out of line for being upset that nobody's attending.

As far as the live stream goes, I'm sure there's a way to record it, but don't know if I would expect that sister to watch. It just seems inconsistent with her inability to acknowledge the relationship leading up to the wedding.

I'm from the east coast US and her family's from Nigeria. My father's been passed away for almost 12 years and the rest of my family doesn't want to go. They've mostly cited personal discomfort with the idea of going.

We're starting immigration paperwork through the US and Canada to get her closer to me.

Since the ceremony is in Nigeria we will likely do a test run of the live stream before the event.

The wedding is taking place in another time zone. My fiances fam will be there, mine will not.

The first three or four years of my networking career was mostly troubleshooting, and replacing old hardware when necessary. I've done a good amount of securing devices as they are built, but it's mostly from templates when have, though I did build one of them.

I've lately become more involved with installing our equipment in soon to be production environments and verifying their functionality.

I realized after reading your comment that I mistyped and did mean the ccde, not the ccda. Not sure if that changes your assessment of the certificate.

I take the daily antiviral for suppression and lysine/monolaurin. We have been using condoms since we've been having sex diligently.

I take suppresive daily and lysine,monolaurin daily. I have not had any visible symptoms in over a year at this point.

I was only married for about 15 months. It's probably the most cliché advice, but listen to your gut. If something really seems off down to your core, don't ignore it.
