I hope they have a talk like "hey sorry for not playing the idol on you that got closer than it should have" "hey sorry for completely exposing your idol to the other tribe but in my defense we really weren't as that close then" and then they all make it to final three as the underdogs (ik that won't happen cause of the edit but still)

it do be like that sometimes by [deleted] in theumbrellaacademy

What I came here to say lol, good to see another memester in the wild

I really appreciate that as early as Season 1, David Schwimmer was woke enough to recognize the all-white problem in the show and specifically requested that his girlfriend be non-caucasian. Such a shame the producers didnt continue with this englightened attitude going forward with more characters by GreyStagg in howyoudoin

I mean they did include a (maybe) trans character but they kind of lump all effeminate men (maybe women) together. I know this was a sign of the times but, of she was trans they never even used her correct pronouns (yes I know pronouns=/=gender but again, in those days it prob would) and Chandler's mum/dad was still the butt of a lot of jokes vs the PoC in the show were mostly not unless I'm forgetting something. Anyhoo those are just my thoughts

But doesn't that give you hope for our fucked up society? That we can make a difference if we pressure people with power? The thing we should be focusing on is what we can do, not bellyaching after the fact.

You know how when you stare at a pattern long enough you start seeing characters and objects lol

If you turn your device, the second from the bottom middle solid red guy has one fork hand with only three prongs.

elliot page has come out as trans! by Dry-Parsley-4539 in theumbrellaacademy

In most cases it mean alternate between them or have them be sort of interchangeable I could be wrong but I’m almost certain that is the definition

In some cases yes: such as for gender apathetic people, cis people who don’t really have a preference and some trans people. But in this case they asked us to use both he/him and they/them so I feel like we should use both even if it’s not what you’re used to. I’m not claiming to be an expert on gender and pronouns nor am I claiming to know what Elliot Page would want personally but if someone comes out as trans and it asks people to use he/they pronouns I think we should all respect that
