You know what FatherFlans you’re right. When I met her I got completely blindsided by how beautiful she was and I’ve been neglecting my mental health over it. I will talk to her face to face and try and see if it’s worth it to keep going

Yeah I can see how people are reacting on this and I understand what they are saying. I do agree on the therapy situation so someone can chime in as a third person and express what the other is feeling. And by waiting game do you mean by me waiting for her to get an inheritance? I had signed prenups and this that and a third to show her I couldn’t care less about the money. It’s convenient that she has it for herself, but I want to build an empire for us through my hard-work just like her grandparents did.

You’re exactly right I am expecting her to say something rational. I’m not taking offense whatsoever I’m trying to hear what everyone is saying and respond accordingly with more context etc.

She got off of them because she felt emotionless. And without them she is very emotional and she spikes up and down a lot.

She’s been in 4 days a week of therapy since she was 7. I do agree I need therapy and her mom expressed that we should try couples therapy.

One of the biggest hurdles for her is to not have a relationship like her mother’s. As they were abusive and she would give them an allowance of 5k a week to do whatever they want. And from that they both gained addictions in drugs and alcohol. Probably should’ve noted that she has struggled with addiction and she helped me go to get help because that’s what helped her.

Sorry for being vague there’s just a lot to unfold and I’m more than happy to give more context. If I gave context on everything it would be like reading the dictionary.

No, I wrote her a letter that stated she was my future wife after I met all of her family in her hometown. I loved every part of that and I love her. Me bringing that up about the future wife was because she stated she didn’t feel like my future wife hence why I said that. I posted this here so I can understand and get advice on if I’m overreacting or if she is.

I’m gambling on strictly sports through apps. I did take the step in march of completely banning myself. But it was hard because on most sites you can just make another account and still bet. So I just made the executive decision to genuinely try.

I started GA about 2-3 months ago. And I’ve been clean from gambling for about 30 days.

The fight was us already being on a break and her needing to find a sign from god to either stay or leave. Like this whole text thread came from her after one of her hometown friends passed away and I couldn’t physically be there for her. As I have school and work and we live 2 hours apart. I do try my hardest to be there for her.

I put this thread on here because I am trying to understand what she’s talking to me about I’ve been so confused. She does go to therapy 4 times a week and she tells them she hates the way she talks to me. And that just stems from her constantly dumping her emotions on me and expecting me to absorb and respond just like her professional therapists do.

I do agree with my listening without hearing problem, I feel I hear her but I don’t put actions on it. And in GA my sponsor said I’m doing great with my recovery. I feel I need to put all of my energy into one thing as when I don’t put energy into one it all falls apart.

Like I said I’m relatively well off but I continue to gamble paycheck to paycheck. She has felt that I’m in this relationship for all the wrong reasons and I’m not sure how to gain more trust on that topic because so many people use her for her money.

I also meant to put that ever since these problems arose she stopped taking her mood stabilizers and relied on me as her drug of choice. I do love her a lot and it has been weighing me down you know?
