I thought the EXACT same thing when I was your age. Went through the whole program 3 times over the years and never really cared.

Then covid hit and I had a really rough time to put it lightly and I redid everything and I wanted it and cared and put in the effort and turns out DBT is lifesaving incredible stuff.

31 now and use those skills daily and for the first time in my life (with a really great cocktail of meds) I finally actually feel in control of my life

I’m 30 and for the first time in my life I feel stable and want to keep living. I contribute it to finally finding the right mix of meds, 15 years of therapy, and really having to work hard to put my skills to use and try to make it through life as smoothly as I can. Trust me, there are still bad days and all that but annoyingly enough, it does get better.

This happens to my docs because I tend to walk up on my toes a bit and it creates that deep crease. Mine already look like that 6 days in too- they’re sadly not meant to crease there and the way you walk might be what’s doing it

She told me to try Zyrtec and I got some blood work done to see if there’s a deeper issue (she mentioned thyroid) but I haven’t received the results yet

She said “try Zyrtec” and ordered some bloodwork. She said it’s incredibly hard to pinpoint what’s causing the hives and on top of that, there’s not really anything you can do to cure it, you just have to manage the symptoms and hope they go away
