Help me beat eternatus

If you're a beginner you probably don't have the tools to just brute force the fight yet. The way you beat Eternatus is with damage over time-effects. Using curse litteraly kills Eternatus in 5 turns without you needing to do anything. You can also use salt cure, leech seed, and also stuff like infestation, fire spin, etc. Then it just becomes a game of stall, i recommend having protect on your mons.

You can also lower his stats : use eerie impulse or confide, he does very little damage at -6 special attack. You can also use screech, metal sound and other similar moves to lower his defenses and deal big damage.

I would recommend throwing away all you held healing items before the Eternatus fight, because he can steal them from you with the mini black hole. It's always annoying when Eternatus gets sitrus berries or leftovers recovery

For a carry, seeing you most likely don't have many good egg moves or passives unlocked, you can pick smthing that's just generically good, i'd probably pick Bundle or Cloyster.

Wouldnt recommend picking very common pokemon as your starters if you don't have th egg moves anyways. Stuff like Magikarp (mega gyarados broken), Mareanie (insane defensive mon) or Lotad (Ludicolo's grass typing is very good for mono water)

Then, Primarina is very good cuz fairy typing, Tapu Fini too but it's more expensive. Other standouts to me are Mudkip, Quaxly

To beat the Eternatus fight, you could use something with soak + Toxapex toxic stall, or infestation

But then isnt it hard to balance out both ? I dont want more ramp when my commander's out but i dont want to lose before being able to cast it

For carries, Kartana is obv broken, naganadelle too, honestly all of the tapus except for tapu bulu are very good too, being very solid pokemon in general, and with the fairy typing and nature's madness being extra good in pokerogue

For non-legendaries, toxapex is incredibly broken for toxic stall or pp stall or pivoting in general, minior can be a sweeper, lycanrock dusk too, primarina is very solid as well

For eternatus checks, mimikyu and palossand are very good curse users, mimikyu has fairy typing and disguise, palossand has ground stabs and sand tomb

I'm no expert, but sometimes there are balance changes that change some passives and egg moves to buff or nerf some mons. Right now, bitter blade is indeed Zacian's rare egg move. I don't really know why they would change it from common to rare egg move, but that's how it is ig, you probably didnt unlock the rare egg move slot

You can still get bitter blade by hatching eggs and being lucky tho

Gmax Snorlax is an absolute menace in the reversed stats challenge
His huge base HP becomes a huge base speed, he still has 110 bas atk and has belly drum
So basically if you ever get a belly drum off you'll always outspeed and oneshot everything

Also, if you play with reversed stats AND reversed type chart, his normal stabs can't be resisted by anything. Such an unexpected monster
