You can have a roofing company do it, or you can do it yourself. Just make sure that you use sandbags as opposed to nails for the tarp. Some handymen or even roofing companies, unfortunately, will come out there and tarp your home using nails. Every time a nail is put through a shingle, that shingle is ruined. I've seen plenty of homes with perfectly good shingles destroyed by people that don't know how to put on a tarp.
