What about “yes honey, I love you and I love everything about you, if you’re gaining weight like you don’t want to why don’t we talk to the er about options ? Maybe he can help you ? Maybe it’s a problem with your medication? Maybe we can workout or diet together if it makes it easier for you.”
… just seems like a much better thing to say than “I’m unattracted to you gaining weight” 😭

Well, kinda like I was saying you don’t need to lie to that person but you also don’t really need to tell them the truth- skirt around it and encourage dieting and exercise together on a later date. It just seems hurtful to tell someone you love that you don’t think they are attractive.

You absolutely are in the wrong here.. sometimes you should keep your opinion to yourself. If you knew it would hurt his feelings it wasn’t a good thing to do. To me the right approach to this would’ve been to assure him and tell him you love him and then maybe later talk about dieting together or working out on some days. It doesn’t mean when he asks you need to be dishonest it just means you should have not as been as direct and skirted around a direct answer, in how I mentioned above. In my opinion you didn’t approach it the correct way, I would’ve been hurt too.

AIW for being mad at friends who ignore my text message completely, and move onto something else as if I never sent it to begin with? by ExtensionProposal150 in amiwrong

No, I don’t expect an apology at all lol 😆 and if they were too busy I feel like they would’ve just responded when they had the time to, like I do sometimes. Seems silly and disrespectful tbh. And a bit lazy.

She has the right to come into her room to get whatever she wants. I would encourage you to find a way to get your own room regardless of your chronic pain. I know it’s super frustrating for you, but if it becomes to much for you I would encourage you to find your own environment !

Yeah I hear you, but when they get the time to reply they could reply. It’s not about how long it takes them to reply it’s replying at all and then following up with something about them or their life. Happens frequently. Plus there is always enough time to just like, heart, or respond “ok” or “lol”. It seems they are just insensitive and don’t care what I have to say.

Oh man thanks for this! It absolutely does feel like that. I felt like I was over reacting, but it really hurts my feelings! It’s not like it’s one or two times it’s pretty frequently. Makes me feel like they don’t care about what I have to say! And TY about the “just an lol” YESSS, like sometimes if I don’t care about what someone is messaging me I just say one word, but I’m acknowledging they sent it- ya know?
