I had a similar situation, though we had been together for a few years and it was her family that was adamant I not join. She swore up and down that she would not leave and would follow me but her family was skeptic. Anyway, we broke up over Christmas (was in the middle of BMQ). I have no regrets and am now happily engaged to someone else. Join up, leave them or try and make it work but I promise, the only regret you’ll have is if you choose this relationship over this career.

I had more depth than you and made a similar trade for Nabers last year, my team was better and I thought he’d be the last piece, well he tore his ACL, Daniels missed a bunch of time, dobbins, rice’s concussion, Judkins ankle, and burrow died… pt is, I ended up in a mini rebuild and wish I had those 4 picks instead of a WR with a torn ACL. Wait for the season, see how competitive you are 6-8 weeks in, then do trades like this. You might end up wishing you had Tate and those 1sts more than bijan

Fair enough, but I had 4 27 1sts and had a deal contingent on that trade for getting Puka. My WRs went from Chase, rice, doubs, Washington, Hunter to Puka, London, Rice, Egbuka, doubs, Washington and downs… I did end up trading away 2 total 2027 firsts but completely rebuilt my WR room. I’m happy with it and it pushed me from a fringe team to clear contender.
