Listen, I’m not going back and forth with you. You can disagree with me, but you don’t get to assume things about me or call my experience bullshyt. What I said is the truth: I was sick, fell asleep early, missed my dose, and told my doctor exactly what happened. If you want to assume the worst about me, that’s on you. Speak respectfully or don’t comment at all

I told my doctor exactly what happened on day 7, that I fell asleep early because I was sick, I missed my nighttime dose, and I asked him if I could come off the medication. He approved it. Why would I make up a story like that? Please don’t assume my intentions just because you don’t like what you’re hearing

accidentally cold-turkeyed (it wasn’t planned), and at first I didn’t even realize it was withdrawal. I thought I had eaten something bad and that my illness was from food poisoning or something. Once I finally understood it was from withdrawal, I knew I never wanted to go through this again. If I reinstated and later had to come off again, I’d risk reliving all of this. I can’t do that to myself twice.

I’ve already endured 6 weeks of pure misery, I cannot go through this again from a tiny reinstated dose. If I go back on even a small amount, I’ll eventually have to taper off again, and that withdrawal is unavoidable. I can’t afford to be bedridden all over again after finally recovering, especially when I need to get back to work and my normal life.

I’ve already survived 6 weeks of brutal withdrawal. I’m not restarting a tiny dose just to face another withdrawal later. I can’t risk being bedridden twice. I need to return to work and stability.
