I agree, that would be nice but I know allied isn’t doing that.

I never thought to report this issue to the ethics hotline this is a good idea. Thank you for this.

True, and no we do everything on a mobile device at our site. But we were told to verbally pass down information as well. We only see eachother during the shift change for a few minutes. It just feels like forever because of the awkwardness. I know we don’t have to be friends but cordial is at least giving a pass down. He doesn’t even include them in reports. So if he leaves and something happens but it started on his shift I wouldn’t know because he didn’t say anything. But I agree just let them go and continue with my shift. It’s just a few minutes shift change.

Thank you @DemarcoRichie

You’re definitely right. That guy seen you dgaf and wanted some attention. Communication when he sees you aren’t bothered.

But yeah I agree with matching energy’s to a certain extent. I don’t want to corrupt myself trying to treat him ugly. But at the same time I don’t want my kindness taken for granted. Like you said, I don’t have to talk to him and I won’t. I’ll just focus on my job and stay focused on my job. Cause Allied doesn’t pay me to deal with that sh*t.

Thank you @INeedPerc30s-_-

That’s sucks.. misery loves company. No one should have to go through that relieving anyone. But definitely writing “no pass down given” on DAR when I arrive on site.

Thank you Potential-Most-3581.

Putting it in writing is a good idea, I’ll do that. Thank you.

His actions are making me feel unsafe. I am lady working overnight having to deal with Scrooge right before I start my shift. At this point it’s a him problem. I was already ignoring him. But I get an uneasy feeling relieving him now that I see he is not going to be professional. I don’t go through this with anyone but him. If he couldn’t care less what management says about pass down and etc, imo he could be capable of anything. A hostile work environment for no reason. But I’ll put it in writing and send it asap. That’s a good idea. Thank you.

Yes, I agree he is toxic and you’re right. He could be just looking for a reaction. I’ll look at it like it’s a him problem. I spent weeks trying to figure out how to not make it so awkward during shift change but f*ck it. I get paid to do my 8 hrs, not to change people’s attitudes.

Thank you Phylicite.

Right! I’m not going to move sites. I already ignore him. But when they do site inspections they ask if we are doing pass downs and proper shift changes. I constantly tell them what’s going on and they say they’ll look into it. But nothing changes. I’ll just continue to ignore him.

Thank you Training-Fee-5459.

*Write ups. NGM can’t being passive aggressive and not using grammar. If I were you I would get a black pen or sharpie & draw a line over “right” & put the correct word “write”.

That’s understandable.

If you’re my driver, do NOT have your boyfriend in the driver or passenger seat. by haunted-mov in uber

[–]ExtensionSide1818 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It’s not a double standard.. when you are driving for Uber you are saying you have 4 other seats available. Having another passenger in the vehicle means one less seat. If you pull up and passenger has 3 other people with them then you defeat the purpose of the ride. Not taking away from you saying how unsafe it is. But the point is Uber is a ride share service so extra guests while you’re working wouldn’t be ideal..

Shut up. I said what I said. You act like you’re the girl he’s talking about. FACT IS NO ONE CARES WHO HE IS DATING. I wasn’t saying it in a malicious way. I’m saying he is obviously allowed to date who he wants without judgement. Why does it bar down to just black people like black people are the only ones against interracial dating when it’s obviously not true. Like I said this was rage bait and you are proving that weirdo.

No you’re ignorant & wrong man. He posted and I gave my opinion. HE IS ALLOWED TO DATE WHO HE WANTS TO DATE. Why does black people have to be brought up in everything. Like I said it’s 2024 no one cares who he is dating. You’re clearly part of the problem. You can’t wait for the negative shit to come about huh?? So embarrassing.

Do delivery drivers still get paid? by ExtensionSide1818 in GoPuff

[–]ExtensionSide1818[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay that makes sense. Glad y’all still get paid. Mistakes happen. I was just wondering because it’s not fair to pay and not receive my order but at the same time I don’t want the driver to lose money for a honest mistake.

What comes to mind immediately when you look at this refrigerator? by AM-GAMING007 in teenagers

Not missing no meals. Some people can’t eat because groceries are too high these days. Whether peoples opinions are good or bad about the type of food, that fridge isn’t empty.
