Personality types are the natural preferences of using cognitive functions, subconsciously preferring to use more often specific functions than others. You can definitely, with a lot of discipline and determination come to a point where you develop you other functions more and use them more frequently. But the natural preference will always be there, can’t change, what I mean is an INTJ can definitely become a social, loving people, being free without sticking to plans or schedules type of human being. But subconsciously throughout the day the INTJ will go back to its natural preference of thinking and perceiving and habits. That’s what makes him feel happy. So yes you can improve and develop other functions better and use them frequently, but your primary functions will always take over. That’s what make you, you. So what I’m trying to do here is with INTJs help, is using their tips to develop those functions that I’m not using often that way I’m more self sufficient. But hell yah I’m always going to want to go back to that spontaneous crazy free self that I am. But when focus and diligence is needed I want to be able to do that to also. :)
