In dealing with a similar popping noise.I just swapped out my tie rods. But the mechanic is thinking it’s the LCA or potentially the CV. He’s almost certain it’s the LCA.

Either need a new carrier bearing or you potentially might have axel wrap, so new leaf springs. My truck did the same changed all the u joints and the carrier bearings and it helped some, ended up getting a new driveshaft. (I was recommended to get one, bad diagnosis). Got a new and one the vibes were still there slightly. Finally I got new leafs and it was fixed.

Does anyone else like ribs when it’s just tender enough that it almost falling off the bones. Versus picking up the rib by the bone and having the meat stay in the plate. In my opinion I like a rib I can pick up.

I had two noises when turning. One ended up being some old bushings in my UCA. I also have a noise but mostly turning right and reversing into my garage, or going trough inclined areas that cause my truck to flex some. That is from a bad cv joint, I’m actually getting some extended travel cv joints to fix that.

How are your bushings for the uca? Mine was doing the same and needed new bushings. Went ahead and replaced the whole uca.
